Defence Day which is celebrated all over Pakistan on the 6th of September is a very important day for the nation. On this day, the entire country celebrates and remembers the people who sacrificed their lives for our great country.

While all of we individually pay tributes to the armed forces of Pakistan in our own unique ways, tons of other small businesses organizations and other government agencies also do their best to pay a tribute.

This year, Pakistan Railways is partnering up with ISPR and Attock Petroleum to pay tribute to the martyrs and other important personalities of the country who laid their lives for Pakistan.

Pakistan Railways decorated the bogies of their trains with pictures of armed forces soldiers and officers along with important politicians, civilians, and policemen. All of those people who gave their lives for Pakistan.

The pictures on the train include that of Benazir Bhutto, Chaudhry Aslam (slain officer of Karachi police), Aitzaz Ahsan (martyred school child), APS students and their principal Tahira Qazi along with several army officers and soldiers who embraced martyrdom during the wars of 1948, 1965, 1971 and Kargil War
