Kumrat Valley is without any doubt one of the most scenic valleys of Pakistan located in Upper Dir. Swarms of tourists from across Pakistan visit the valley during the summers to enjoy their holidays.
This Ramadan, the locals at Kumrat Valley have reported that there are already a large number of tourists visiting the valley ahead of tourism season.
People from Sialkot, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Karachi, Peshawar, Dera Ismail Khan, Bannu, and other areas are there to spend Ramadan in a cold and pleasant weather.
Ahead of the main tourism season that starts on Eid-Ul-Fitr, KPK tourism has worked on minor upgrades in the valley to attract more people to the valley.
People visiting Kumrat Valley this summer will be welcomed by a slightly better-looking valley as the tourism department has worked on many cosmetic changes.
These changes include a clean drive to make sure the valley is clean for visitors coming from around Pakistan. Wild hedges have been cut down to make sure grass is leveled and beautiful. Several commercial and temporary residential huts have been established to facilitate tourists and the old ones have been recolored to give the valley a fresh look.
Planning your trip with the family
However, for people who will be coming with their families should know that the valley still lacks proper hotels to stay in.
Other family-oriented facilities are also lacking in the area such as clean toilets, warm water, cellular coverage, availability of various fresh food, and more.
When coming with a family, make sure that you are well prepared and are aware of the lack of some of these basic facilities.
