Two young students from Balochistan have made Pakistan proud by securing a gold and silver medal at the 2018 International Golden Climate Olympiad held in Kenya.
The annual Olympiad had more than 210 students competing for a science project from 21 countries including U.S, Russia and other big Nations of the world.
Mukaram Fattah won a gold medal for presenting a mosquito repellant made from orange peels while Notezai received a silver medal for his project that made use of dry leaves of pine trees.
Mukaram and Notezai are both studies at PakTurk International School in Quetta. Muakaram is in 7th grade and secured the gold medal for junior category while Notezai is in the 9th grade and secured the silver medal in the senior category.
Amongst these two were several other students from Pakistan who were present at the Olympiad and helped bring home as many as four bronze medals.
Upon returning to Pakistan, both Mukaram and Notezai were warmly welcomed and gave a speech about their experiences at the Olympiad.
The U.S has also invited these little champions to showcase their projects in a future event to be held soon.
