Momina Mustehsen needs no introduction. She became an overnight celebrity when she performed ‘Afreen Afreen’ at the Coke Studio season 9 with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
Their rendition of Afreen Afreen was welcomed and criticized at the same time. But the performance video went on to become the most watched music video in Pakistan according to YouTube.
Apart from being a vocalist, Momina is also known for taking an active part in social issues in Pakistan.She joined a campaign against domestic violence for UN Women Pakistan a couple of months back.
Adding to her many talents, Momina Mustehsan did something completely different and out of the ordinary which surprised her fans.
PIA got in touch with the artist to arrange for a little surprise for the people at the Lahore Airport. She appeared backstage and made a flight announcement for the people waiting for a PIA flight.
From the video, it is clear that Momina’s flight announcement skills are near perfect except the fact that she got a couple of words wrong. If you were there, it would be really hard to tell her apart from a professional announcer.
