Punjab Government and Punjab Information Technology have finally made free Wi-Fi available across several locations. The idea of setting up free Wi-Fi by Punjab Government has been looming around for a couple of years now since it was announced.
The project is now launching in Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Multan with slowly expanding to other cities. Starting today, you’ll be able to use free Wi-Fi on the locations officially listed by PITB below:

WiFi spots are discoverable physically where this board is available
You can also install a dedicated Free WiFi discovering application released by PITB on Google Play Store. This application notifies you as soon as you are near a free WiFi spot.
Before you can use any Free Wi-Fi spots, you’ll need to register yourself on the portal that opens when you try to browse the internet.
