ICT Administration has just inaugurated Islamabad’s first ever modern citizen facilitation center.
The facilitation center was constructed to help citizens get different facilities in a very comfortable environment. For example, the process of getting a driving license, national ID card and other important certificates have been completely computerized.
If you are a citizen of Islamabad, you can now avail services like getting your domicile certificate, arms license or international driving permit under one single roof.
The citizen facilitation center is constructed over an area of 2500 square yards. The construction began back in 2014 but was stalled later on. Now with the help of Mayor of Islamabad, the construction has finally been finished and operations at the facilitation have begun.
The facilitation center was inaugurated by the Mayor of Islamabad Mr. Sheikh Anser Aziz.
ICT Administration also plans to construct several other citizen facilitation centers in Islamabad in the coming years. The center will also be able to serve people of the city at their doorstep.
