Forbes has just released its annual list of world’s most powerful people in the world for 2016.
Looking at the list, there is no surprise that the top folk this time includes Vladamir Putin, Donald Trump and Angela Merkel taking the top spots.
Putin has been growing in power due to his influence in Syria and being the President of Russia.
Similarly, Donald Trump rose to power by achieving a shocking victory this year in the U.S Presidential Elections.
The third spot was taken by Angela Merkel, the chancellor of Germany. She is also the backbone of the European Union.
There is no mention of Raheel Sharif from Pakistan who also rose to fame and power due to his fight against terrorism in Pakistan.
Jack Ma, the founder of Alibaba Group also makes an appearance at number 28.
Mark Zuckerberg took the 10th spot and is the youngest person to be featured on the list.
Barack Obama dropped to number 48 considering that he took the second position last year. But since it is the end of his Presidentship, it should come as no surprise.
Surprisingly, Hilary Clinton, has no mention in the list considering she fought Donald Trump on equal grounds at the Presidential Elections in the U.S.
