Google Releases List Of Most Popular Searches Of 2016

Google publishes a list of most searched terms every year. This year the trends revolved around different interests of internet users.

Google released this report on Wednesday and according to it, the most searched item of the year was Nintendo’s Pokemon GO.

iPhone 7 took the second spot in the list while Donald Trump took the third spot in the top most searched terms on the searched engine.

The fourth place was taken by Prince, the rock icon who passed away in April.

In the U.S, users took on Google to read about the Powerball lottery. In January, the lottery released a record-breaking prize of $1.6 billion.
