WhatsApp is without any doubt one of the most popular communication app available today. Now it is increasing its reach by adding video calling to its list of features.
WhatsApp announced video calling feature in a blog post on Monday.
We’re introducing this feature because we know that sometimes voice and text just aren’t enough, and we want to make these features available to everyone, not just those who can afford the most expensive new phones or live in countries with the best cellular networks.

According to WhatsApp, the video calling feature will be released in the upcoming days in most countries. The feature will be added to Windows, iOS and Android devices.
To start a video call, users simply have to tap on the phone icon that appears in the chat window. A new option of video calling will be added here.
WhatsApp video calling will be fully encrypted
In a bid to keep your privacy intact, the video calling feature on WhatsApp will be strictly encrypted. This means that no one can record, listen or view your communication without consent.
